Here at Delightful-cakes.com we are always on the look out for more cupcake recipe's! We have created recipes inspired from oreos and candy but what other tasty desserts are out their that could be turned into a cupcake!?

The cherry bakewell tart is a classic yet delightfully scrumptious little treat. With the soft pastry, jam filling, fondant icing and the subtle taste of almond makes the cherry bakewell a delicious little treat with a big flavour and let's not forget the glazed cherry on top!


Our thoughts here at Delightful-cakes.com on what it may look like in cupcake form are as followed - Vanilla sponge topped with a thin layer of jam and covered with white vanilla icing on top, sprinkled with almonds and a soft biscuit to create the almond/pastry effect and delightfully topped with a glazed cherry? voila - Cupcake cherry bakewell 

The creamy texture and exquisite taste of white chocolate got us thinking that if combined with cake it would be a match made in white chocolate heaven! Like our 'Chocolholic' cupcake which is topped with rich chocolate butter cream the white chocolate cupcake will be topped with white chocolate butter cream but on a vanilla sponge (the chocoholic cupcake is on a chocolate sponge)
 and topped with white chocolate pieces - Heavenly? You decide.

The Cosmopolitan is one of the best loved cocktails yet it remains so classic it can even make the little black dress jealous! It still remains one of my favourites so it got me thinking - being made into a cupcake version couldn't be a bad thing and with a dash of cointreau who could resist?! it sounds like the ultimate naughty treat! Cupcake Cosmo? Watch this space!

AHHH the famous couple re-united! When someone looked at this glorious delightful orange fruit and paired it with chocolate there was definitely no looking back! you know what were thinking?...Chocolate Orange Cupcake? Were on it!!!

And we did it! The dark chocolate and orange butter cream is sensational! We think were onto a winner! 

Halloween! Kid's love it and so do we! With halloween right around the corner were thinking up ideas to create the perfect scary treat!
